Hi Frnds!!.. Well It Was A Big Day For Sairam B Team, Because They Were To Face The Strong Sairam A Team In Their Semi's.. Hmmm Well It Was A Bright Sunny Day.. Well It Was A Comical Scene To See Both The Teams Together.. As usuall D Umpires Called Both The Captain For D Toss.. As Usuall Sairam B Won The Toss Nd Elected TO Field.. Sairam A Opened The Innings With Anand Nd Gowri.. Well V Entered The Field With Lot Of Hopes TO Restrict A Team Within A Total Of 120-130.. But The Start Given By Gowri Nd Anand Stopped Us Even Imagining So.. The ball Went to All Corners Of the Ground.. Anand Rocked.. He Was Unstoppable.. V Were Just Watching The Ball Sailing Over The Ropes.. V Didn't Know Wat TO Do Where TO Bowl To Him.. On D Other End Gowri Was Rotating Singles.. After D Finish Of The 4th Over, D ball Was Almost Like An Old Ball, Coz It Got Such hammerings From D Bat Of Anand.. He Was In Prime Form.. Sasi Nd Murali Were Knocked To Al Corners.. D score Piled Up TO 40 in 4 Overs.. They Were GOing At A rate Of 10 Runs/Over.. Just Then Myself Nd Laxman Started Bowling, With The Field Being Spread.. Anand Nd Gowri Got Settled.. They Were Just Rotating Singles.. Myself Nd laxman Bowled Giving 6 Runs/per Over, Jus Then Anand Came Down The Track Nd Started Attacking Me Nd Findings D Gaps, Nd Smashed Me.. But Just Then Before Scoring His 50, He Was Stumped.. He Scored 48.. Splended Innings.. It Was His Day.. Just Then We Could Grasp Some Breath, But Then The Other Master Blaster Ashwin Came In.. He Got Settled With ,Koushik Into The Attack With One End Operated By Him.. I Was Into Final Over Of My Spell, Just Then Ashwin Targeted Me Nd Hit A Big Six Over Long off.. Standing tall From The Grease Nd Drove The Ball.. Hmmm Well I Was Trashed Again For Another 4 Over My Head.. He Proved To b A Master Blaster.. Nd Just Then Things Were Going Out Of Our Hands.. I Took D Wicket Of Gowri Shankar In d Last Ball OF My Spell.. Chasing A Ball Outside Off Stump Nd Nicked One.. He Scored 22..I ended My Spell Taking 2 Wickets Giving Lot Of Runs :(.. But Then The Scored Piled Upto 100 In The 13th over or so.. Vignesh Came In Then.. V Know he Was Out Of Confidence Coz He got Out The First Ball He Faced In The Last Match..In A Similar Fashion 2day Also He Got Out D First Ball Stumped Of Koushik.. Then V Thought V has A Chance OF Restricting Them To Around 130 Or So, But We Were Worried About Ashwin's Stand At The Other End.. Shankar Came In.. He Was Rotating Singles.. But Just Then Navin balaji gave Us The Break Through Of Getting The Price Wicket Of Ashwin.. He Added A Quick Score Of 22 TO His Name.. Similarly At The Other End Shankar Got Out, Driving A ball.. Giving An Easy Catch.. But Whatever It May B The Score Was Beyond Our Reach Already..Sathish Came In, He Hit A Six Off Navin Balaji, But Got Bowled Soon Then @ D Bowling Of Koushik.. Then G.VIgnesh, Shiva Came In Nd Tried To Hit Some Boundries.. So In The Process Of Doing So They Got Out.. It Was Upto The Tail Then.. Mohan Prashanth Was In.. Finally MP Nd Ganesh Finished OF Playin The Full 20 Overs.. Sairanjit added 6 Dismissals TO His Name, Koushik Took 3 Wickets,Naveen 2 Nd Laxman 2.. Sairam A Piled Up A Huge target Of 158/9 In Their 20 Overs.. Al Our Hopes Were Shattered Then..
Well V B Team Discussed What To Do??.. V Were Just Short Of Ideas.. Coz The target Was Too much.. V Hoped For The Best With Little Confidence That V Had Kanna, V Entered Into Bat.. Venkat Nd Sairanjit Opened The Innings.. Well Where A good Start Was Expected From The Two, It Was The Other Way Round.. Venkat Was Lbw, He Didn't Last Long..Gopi Picked Him Up.. Both Mp Nd Pace Star Gopinath Was Unplayable.. V were Unable 2 score.. Sairanjit Wasted Most Of Balls.. Where Kanna Was Trying 2 Accelerate From The Other End.. He Scored A Few Boundries.. But Then Too V Scored At 3 Runs/Over Where V Were Supposed To Score At 8.. It Was Al Disaster When Our Only Hope Kanna Got Out Trying 2 Hit One Out OF The Ground.. Arvindh Went In.. But He too Got Out To A Flighted Delivery Of Ashwin Trying 2 Clear The Ground, Good Catch By Shankar.. Navin Balaji Went In HE Was Not Able 2 Do Anything Neither.. Sairanjit Nd Navin Both Got Out Bowled To Shiva Nd Shankar Scoring Less than 10 Respectively.. I Went In.. I Was Not Able 2 Do Anything Neither.. Sasi Was At The Other End.. V Knew tat V Could'n Do Anything.. V Just Started Rotating Singles Nd Prevent Us From A Shameful Defeat Of Getting All Out.. v Were Rotating Singles.. v Where Not Able 2 Score Neither.. The Spirit Of A Team Was So High, That They Wanted 2 Make Us all Out.. But Finally When We Planned To GO In Without Getting Out, Sasi Got Out Trying To Clear One Out OF The Ground But Got Out, He Scored 20.. The Very Next Ball I Got Bowled To A Straight ball From Shankar Trying TO Cut Scoring 16.. Murali Came In.. It Was The Last Ball Of Our Innings.. But It Was Shankar's Day.. He Took A Hatrick.. He Bowled Extremely Well Bowling Stumps To Stumps.. HE Was The Man Of D Day, Finally Picking Up 4 Wickets.. V Were Cleaned Up Cheaply For 80/7 In Our Allotted 20 overs.. It Was Just A Match Which Just Proved The Strength Of Sairam A.. We Were Like Small Kids, When Compared TO Them.. Hat's Off To Anand Nd His Guys They Played Disciplined Cricket Al Round.. We Were At Last Very Happy tat 4 Competed Against Other Great Colleges Nd Came Till Our Semi's.. Nd V r Very Happy That V Were Given Such A Good Opportunity TO Prove Something Atleast:)
Well The Other Semi Final Match In D Noon Was Between Cresrent Nd SRM Easwari.. Well It Was An Easy Win For Easwari Engg College Defeating Cresent Nd Entering Into The Finals..
Yes Tomorrow Is The Big Day Where Sairam A Takes On SRM Easwari.. I Have Full Hopes That Sairam A Will Rock Tomorrow Nd Lift Up The Trophy.. Anyways Lets Hope For The Best N Wait Nd C Till Tomorrow.. All The Best Guys!! Keep Rocking!!!...:)
