Singing-->> More than a passion

Hi friends!!.. There are ppl who jus sing for time pass, bathroom singers and so on, well i am one such who belongs to this list.. But of late singing has turned out to be more than a passion for me.. I started singing when i was 9 yrs Old.. My parents used 2 send me 2 carnatic classes and in my part i was so sincere in attending those.. But i was unfortunate not to learn it properly and ended up just learning it for a year(I don even remember now what I learnt :P), i find it now to be the greatest mistake which I have made in my life L.. Though I stopped learning singing my passion towards singing has never been down.. Wherever I go and whatever the place be, I used to hum some song or the other and always on the touch with music and loving it totally..

School days are never forgettable J.. This incident took place when I was in my 6^th std, I went for my school choir band selections.. Actually don’t remember what is sung, but the ultimate comedy what I did was I got selected and then came out without joining the choir & finally ended up getting scolding from my friends for what reason I went for the selectionsJ.. Then during my 11^th &12^th std my main pass time during our chem and phys classes were, myself singing songs 2 my friends of their choices(Sorry ppl I know how much u ll would have cried inside :P).. We used to go to inter college culturals but hardly there were singing competitions, but I did sing a few in some schools..

College has been one such place which has helped me in bringing out my talent.. Though I didn’t get enough opportunities to exhibit what I know, I got a nice set of friends around me who are always there to back me up and encourage me in whatever I have done!! [Thanks a lot ppl!! :)].. College has been the one beginning place where I was appreciated a lot for my singing.. I used 2 be so happy when my own class mates used 2 stand by my side always.. My 1^st venture in my college was when I sang JUNE PONAL for my super seniors FAREWELL which I was appreciated for( well most of the occasions I used to sing the same song, sorry ppl just a reminder I can sing other songs too :P).. I sang in my College culturals, dept symposiums and Inter department competitions which has made me think singing more than a passion for me now.. I started thinking over to take singing as a new goal in my life.. I have attended many competitions like Airtel super singer, Athiradee singer, Top singer all ended up in vain.. Then I knew I was not up to the mark (Infact Zero :))..

These small small appreciations though they bought happiness in my life, something or the other made me re-think that i missed something big.. Yes the gr8 mistake I made was not learning carnatic properly, because when ppl say my normal singing was acceptable it would have be far better when I have a sound knowledge about the ragas.. There is nothing like a person has learnt everything.. Though I don’t know anything I have the thrive to learn it.. These shows have made me thing that learning and practice will make ppl achieve gr8 heights.. This is the initial stage of my life, I have started taking this seriously and I am very determined to achieve something in this field and started working on this to achieve something.. With full confidence and with u ppl’s blessings hoping so I ll become a singer in d nearby future :)..

India on a roll!! Back to back wins!!.. Beats Eng in the 2nd ODI...

England expected to bounce back in the 2nd ODI.. Their hopes were brutally destroyed by the same man yet again Yuvraj Singh who seems to improve game by game, following up with his second consecutive century , rescuing India from a top-order collapse and dismissing four of England's top five batsmen, he remains as england's nightmare. He lead India to a comfortable victory margin of 54 runs..

England were initially on the top early in the game, having reduced India to 29 for 3, but india recovered strongly with the fourth wicket between Yuvi and Gauti. Yuvraj went on to score 118 and gauti 70.. India scored India to 292 for 9 at the end of their 50 overs..

The target was always going to challenge England and they were out of the contest just managing to score 238..

India Leads the series 2-0.. The Man of the match was Yuvi for his brilliant 118 and 4 wicktes!!..

Indian's Trash Eng in the 1st Ind-Eng 7 ODI series!!.. India wins by a big margin!!..

Pietersen's decision to field inspite of winning the toss which ended to be a tradedy form the team.. An utter disaster striked england with India posting 387 for 5 in 50 overs displaying a great strokeplay. Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag added 125+ runs for the first wicket, after which Yuvraj Singh stook like a tiger with an unbeaten 138 from only 78 balls.

It was the second highest ever total.. England could only reply with 229 facing a huge margin losing to the host's india..

Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel ended bowling well, where zaheer ends up with 2 wickets!!.. Only Captian Kevin Peterson was able to make 63 runs.. With high confidence after crushing the world champions australia in the test series and a victory here keeps india headed steadily to the top position and with a high level of confidence into their next match..

How many messages do you text per day and how many messages fill your inbox in 24 hours...have you ever counted them? i'm sure you will be one among the thousands who have become addicted to texting msgs. and with so many different sms packages provided by the airtel, vodafone,aircel, reliance and what not, communication through sms has taken its wildest form specially among the youngsters.

I have a gang of friends msg-ing me every alternate minute, and the worst part being those msgs some will have no meaning, no relevance, nothing and some useful and informative .. lol.. There is also the famously called "inform all" msgs by our friends circle this msg wil be of the kind-

• " Raja is not coming to college today pls infrom 2 the staffs"
  


• "Machan Kumar is roaming with a girl"-forward 2 all

and so many of this kind and its real fun msging nonsense to a group of friends and getting replies is a even more funny!!. And apart from that, the usual gud morning msgs, gud evening and gud nite msgs, forwards, "wat doing" msgs, etc, etc, the list is never ending...and the no. of msgs i send is also never ending..[:P]

I am one of those vodafone users with a package having 750 sms/day and that's really made me an addict to sms-ing. Sms-ing rocks!!..

India-Aus Delhi test ends in a draw!!...

The third Test, which will now be remembered as captain Anil Kumble, ended the game in a draw here today and announcing his retirement. Having their 1-0 lead in the four-match series, with a crushing 320-run win in Mohali, India now move to Nagpur for the last match of the series Kumble, who decided to quit after playing his final Test at his happy hunting ground delhi.

Only an extraordinary batting collapse could have forced a result which hard hardly anything for the bowlers other than the spinners. Taking 20 wickets was an impossible task, as the first two innings alone yielded nearly 1200 runs.

The australian attack finally regained some of its standard bowling and tried hard to get rid off Rahul Dravid and Gautam Gambhir in the morning , but it did not prove enough in the end. India declared there second innings at 208 for 5 with VVS Laxman batting on 59 and Sourav Ganguly on 32.Chasing 245 in 23 overs, Australia finished at 31 for no loss and the test was drawn as temmates lifted Kumble off the ground and all came in turn to wish him.

The greats of the game were Gambir with a 206 & 36 and Laxman who has been Australia's nightmare struck 200 not out in the first innings and 59 not out in his second innings was unbeaten in this game.

This test match will be indeed remembered as we bid goodbye to one of the all time legends of spin Anil Kumble!!. We miss u JUMBO!!....

Anil Kumble, India's Test captain, announced his retirement from international cricket today and will not play the last Test of the series against Australia in Nagpur. His announcement came during the fifth day's play in Delhi, at the end of which he was carried off the field by teammates giving an emotional farewell.

In 132 Tests, Kumble took 619 wickets, the most among Indians. He injured his finger on his left hand on the day 3 in the third Test which made him think about his decision to retire. He captained India to three wins, with the 72-run victory at Perth against Australia undoubtedly one of the Greatest wins for indian cricket.

The legspinner was also the second player in history, to bag 10 wickets in an innings against Pakistan in the second innings in delhi. A fitting farewell that his last match was also at the same venue.He stands equal with that of the spin legends Shane Warne and Muttiah Muralitharan, footmarking his contribution to spin's golden era.

He has been a person who has lead india to great heights, a special person has to be born to beat the records of this legend leg spinner. We salute at you kumble!! U rock!!. We miss u Anil!!!....

Tendulkar surpassed former West Indian captain Brian Lara's record of 11,953 runs on the opening day of the second cricket Test against Australia in Mohali... His Wonderful innings of 88 was a treat to watch after a long time.. Yet we being his fans had a little dissapointment not to see him score a 100 today..

The President of India Pratibha Patil congratulated Sachin Tendulkar for becoming the highest Test run-getter in the world...

"You have given joy to countless Indians with your batting," the President said in her congratulatory message to the master batsman...

India Vs Aus 1st Bengaluru Test ends in a draw!!!!

Before coming into this match all the focus centred around India's Famous Five.They were under pressure like never before and a failure would have meant the talk surrounding his farewells would have restarted.

Now as the first Test match ended in a tame draw, the Fab Four looked to have settled the debate for now, leaving only the fifth one = Indian skipper Anil Kumble to silence.But for now let's just look at the Famous Four. If anyone had any doubts about India's aeging middle-order, then this match to some extent should have helped settle them.

For it was the middle-order which played a part in both innings to help India retain some respectability in the Test match. if it was Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly in the first innings, the final day belonged to the other two.

Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman got together at a critical time for India on the final day at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium as Australia set India a challenging target of 299 in 83 possible overs. The 61-run fourth-wicket partnership between Tendulkar and Laxman not only ate up time but also showed that there were no demons in the pitch. But going for a win was never in the minds.
The pair played quietly kept the scoreboard moving. More than anything else the partnership came at a right time.

Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir no doubt held the key to India's chances in saving the Test match. But after Sehwag fell early on the final day, the re-assuring presence of the middle-order ensured there was nothing to panic.Much like Ganguly and Dravid, the Tendulkar-Laxman pairing too calmed the nerves during their stay. Gambhir and Sehwag may have failed but the middle-order have shown through this Test that they still have the fire to fight.

Australians tempted Laxman with well-thought out fields, having three fielders on the leg-side to pounce on his flicks. But through his knock on Monday, Laxman played well.He did not fall for the trap. Tendulkar at the other end appeared determined to play on till the last ball was played.

The final day stoppages due to bad light may have come in the way of Australia, but by then the experience of Tendulkar and Laxman had taken India to safety.Australia will look back at the final day's play as a missed opportunity, they declared fairly swiftly after just a half-an-hour play nd then gave themselves enougn time to have a crack at India.

The Aussie fast bowlers began well, but Ponting's lack of faith in first-choice Cameron White showed the bowling in poor light. Ponting seemed to have more faith in Michael Clarke for the better part of the day, till White induced an indiscretion from Tendulkar.

After much light fading, getting better and then becoming bad again, India batted out for a well-deserved draw with just six overs being bowled in the last hour. All the credit went to the Indian middle-order who battled the blues to overcome a stiff rival. Hopefully the talk around them will die down for now. But for Kumble the tough part has just started.

The Little Master Sachin Tendulkar is yet to break Lara's record with 14 runs short!!. Will he break the record in the next test??. Lets keep our fingers crossed...

Life really is full of challenges and not all of us have the chance to go through with these challenges. Though we are all endowed with talents, the choice of profession and occupation, most of the time, is dictated with environmental forces.

I would like to share my views with regards to proper guidance. At our age, since we are still in the process of developing and building our own careers, I believe, we are still bound to be guided by our parents or guardians. Obviously, there are numerous temptations around us that if we get hooked up, for sure, it will hamper us to pursue our dreams if not totally stop dreaming for this endeavor. Proper guidance really plays a very important role in achieving a good life.

Based on physical developments, this 17-22 age range is the gang age where young individuals learn the ways of grouping in which a factor that could separate and divide each boys views. This would have hampered there success but because of proper training and guidance, those obstacles had been overcame.

As mentioned earlier, guidance plays a vital role in our journey to life. Let us listen to our parents and guardians most of the time, if not once in a while.

The Cast for the film are SPB CHARAN, SHIVA, VAIBHAV and PREMJI who play the lead role in the film, Vega Plays the role of saroja and Prakashraj as saroja's Father.. The film is being directed by VENKAT PRABHU.. The music for the film is done by YUVAN SHANKAR RAJA..

Story Line:
The basic story line is like saroja is a school going girl, prakashraj's daugther saroja is being kidnapped by a gang and is being demanded money from prakshraj who is a rich person to let her out.. Ajay plays the role of a serial artist, Charan plays d role of a family man whiling away his time with his friends, Vaibhav being charan's brother and premji plays d role of Ganesh kumar.. They all set off to hyderabad to watch cricket match!!... Since their is an accident on their way through, ajay leads them to another route which dey end up being on a no man's land.. They end up in the place were the gang has kidnapped nd kept saroja.. How they enter into that place,wat happens, how they rescue saroja is d penultimate story...

Dhaam Dhoom--->> Expectations Not Full Filled

Dhaam Dhoom was one of the films which had it songs being the massive hit of d year before the film was released.. So there was lots of expectations for the release of the film.. The film casts Jayam Ravi,Kangana Ranaut,lakshmi rai.. The music for the film Is Done By Harris Jayaraj and directed by jeeva.. The movie hit d screens by d end of august..

The Basic story line is jayam ravi is a doctor who is being selected and sent to russia to attend conference in russia.. There he meets up with a russian girl and unfortunately that girl is been murdered, so ravi is arrested thinking that he was d person who did the crime by russian police.. So how he manages to find the original criminal and return back to india to marry kangana who is waiting for ravi is the story line..

First half of the film is good.. Before interval, scenes like jumping from one building to another and doing stunts in air are not realistic.. Second half of the film, just worse.. Nothing much to say.. Picturization of the songs not that good especially anbe en anbe and yaro.. overall a very average film.. Disappointment for people who expected this film to b a big hit... Out of 10 this film can b given a max rating of 5..

Story Line:

Pasupathy is a barber who resides with his wife meena and children in a small village.. He is not rich and also does not get much income from his barber shop neither.. One day Superstar Rajini comes to that village for a film shoot starring nayanthara along his side as heroin.. Meanwhile pasupathy tells his wife and children that Super star and himself were very good childhood friends.. So meena goes and tells her negihbours that rajini was her husband's childhood friend.. At that time pasupathy Gets respect from others because he is rajinikanth's friend, but what is running in pasupathy's mind is that rajini has attained great heights now and will he remember me??.. With all these question in his mind, he is forced by his wife,children and neighbours to meet rajini.. But since rajini is in a great position he is not been able to meet up with super star.. Now every1 starts disbeliving that pasupathy is no friend of rajini.. Even his children start to think that his father was telling lies and stops talking to him.. Meanwhile pasupathy tries to see rajini, but all ends up in vain.. Before the last day of shoot in that village rajini was invited as the chief guest to a school functiuon in that village where pasupathy's children study.. During the school function speech rajini speak out about his old friend pasupathy (balu in the film) and how he has helped rajini out in his past days and how he misses his friend.. The climax of the film is how Rajini meets pasupathy and reacts after seeing his friend and what true friendship means , even after a person has achieved great height..

Individual Performances :

Rajinikanth:-
The Only reason for kuselan going to be a hit is because of super star.. In this film you can see a different rajini who acts as rajinikanth himself in this film wit the name Ashok Kumar, with new emotional kind of acting.. The one and only person who has rocked in the entire film is rajini, that's why he is the evergreen super star.. Rajini's songs,intro everything super.. Job well done by thalaivar...

Pasupathy:-
After rajini the second person acting which will be spoken is pasupathy Appears as balu in this film.. He has played his character role to perfection.. I wonder no other person except pasupathy would have done better than him.. His acting is exceptional in the climax of the film..

Nayanthara:-
Well not much role to play for nayanthara.. She appears in all the songs and few of the scenes as a glam doll.. But She has done what role was given to her in a perfect way..

Meena:-
Meena appears as pasupathy's wife.. she has acted in kuselan after a long time, but we can find the same old meena's performance in this film too.. She has not over acted and done her role as a perfect house wife..

Vadivel:-
As usuall Vadivel has rocked with his comedies.. whenever he appears we are into laughter.. He has kept up his standard and has added more advantage for the film..

Overall View:
There is no big story line in this film.. A very normal story Highlighted because of the appearance of super star.. First half of the film is not tat much interesting until you see super star in the screen.. Rajini's intro is awesome.. Songs are not that good except cinema cinema song.. and songs are kept in the film just because they have to, they happen to start without any reason or logic flow.. Nayanthara is mainly picked in this film for the songs.. Vadivel's comedy is one of the main highlights of the film.. Second half after rajini's intro rocks.. Pasupathy has acted superbly.. The main to be watched and appreciated in the film is the climax.. Rajini and pasupathy have acted so so well that i was into tears, not only me many said so even u people who will be watching will b into tears.. Thala's performance tharu maru.. Last 15-20 mins of the film says it all..

Final Report:
Kuselan is just about rajini,rajini and only rajini.. If u are a rajini fan its worth spending money and watching the film.. Pasupathy too rocks in the film.. The Film is to be watched especially for its climax.. This Film depicts what TRUE FRIENDSHIP is!!... I Hope the film becomes a big hit.. Lets hope to see a big response.. SUPERSTAR ROCKZZZ!!!!....

Two Cars With Explosives Found In Surat!!!....

Hello Ppl!!!... Twenty four hours after the blasts in Ahmedabad, the police in Gujarat are still discovering explosives.

*** More live bombs have been found in Surat in Gujarat, a bomb squad found a wooden box containing white powder, wires, a battery and shrapnel near the Nupur hospital in Surat's New Citylight area on Sunday morning. It's been sent fortests.
***Surat Police have now found two cars with explosives in them. One of them had four live bombs.
***It's now been confirmed that more than 40 people have died in Saturday evening's serial blasts in Ahmedabad and more than a hundred people are injured.
***A bomb was also found in a residential colony in a garbage dump in Hatkeshwar, it was defused. The explosive was fitted with a timer device.
If This Continues Then The Whole World Will Be Destroyed Soon, All of us Dead.. Hope This Situation Doesn't Comes.. Already Chennai Has Been Warned With A Red Hat Alert.. Well Frnds When I Was Just Whiling Away My Time i Thought abt My Frnds and got an idea why not to write abt "what is true friendship", "when does a frnd becomes a treasure to us" , "when does a normal frnd becomes a true one".. So well here it goes!!..

We all have frnds.. A lot gets talked about frndships. Everyone wants a true friend, and many of us believe that we have a friend who can be called a true frnd... What kind of relations do frnds share?.. When can we call a friend a true frnd, and when can our friends take us as their true frnd... After a romantic relationship, frndships are the most important relationships we can have... Though all of us have family and distant family, most of us rely on friends for advice, comfort and inspiration... How do we define a relation that can be called as one of true frndship?..

The very first sign of a very good frnd, not necessarily a true friend is that we are not worried about courtesies... You will call your friend at any hour and talk without any thought of time in your mind. Similarly, whenever you need support, you will call a very good frnd and ask him/her to help you out.. They expect the same from you. Another important trait of such relations is that we are not much worried about exposing ourselves. We speak abt everything in our mind without worrying about what our friends will think... We are sure that they will take our talk in the spirit it was made. We are unguarded and open with frnds in our talk...

A true frnd is a little more than a very good friend... A true frnd will support u even if it hurts his/her own interest... A true frnd will understand your motives and needs and will be with you without any analysis or criticism... A true frnd will come forward to help without any request and be with us in need without showing it or expecting anything in return... With a true frnd, you can be sure that you will get help to the extent possible by him/her... Nothing will remain unturned. A mother is a true friend of her children. If we share such relations with an adult we can say that we are true frnds...

A true frnd makes no excuses of having work or appointments or anything but will be with you whenever you need him/her... In your hour of desperation, a true frnd will support you even if the whole world opposes you.. A true friend is not an opportunist. A true friend means to have someone who is like mother, as I said earlier. Instead of having hundreds of good friends, if you have a true frnd, treat yourself lucky... If you can also become a true frnd of someone, you will be blessed, because it is much easier for all of us to expect but very difficult to give... Be a true frnd yourself first...

Language is no subject to clog your mind with theoretical crap. It should be taught as a tool of communication; of effective speaking and writing. It cannot be mastered by hauling attractive scores in lame examinations.

Has today’s education become a hot-spot in Indian money-making? Three killed, 20 wounded in seven Bangalore blasts

At least three people were killed and 20 injured in seven serial blasts that hit Bangalore city this afternoon.

The blasts took place between 2.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. at the Madivala bus stop, Hossur road, Adugudi, Koramangla, Mysore Road and Nayadahalli.

Bomb disposal squads have reached the blasts sites.

Schools, colleges, cinema halls and commercial complexes have been shut down.

High alert has been sounded to metros and State capitals.

The injured have been admitted to the St Johns Hospital in Bangalore.

State Minister for Home Affairs Shakeel Ahmad said that these blasts are well planned act of terror organised by militant organisation but he refrained from naming any particular terrorist outfit.

Sairam A was very much confident of beating SRM Eswari and they planned good strategies for the match... SRM Eswari won the toss and elected to bat first... Pace spearhead Gopi n MP Opened The Innings, They bowled extremely well in their first spell... Gopi scalped the 1st wicket of Balaji who was in ominous form,he was out caught behind... MP held onto an awesome catch of his own bowling and sent Arjun out... In came the captain Vignesh Raja,who was scoring consistently in the tournament... He cracked a boundary of d very 1st ball he faced, His Ominous Form Continued... MP was impressive with figures of 4-0-17-1...Then came Shiva and Haran... They bowled extremely well... They shared 3 wkts between them with Shiva taking an astounding catch In Midoff.. Sairam A Opened The Innings With Anand Nd Gowri.. Well V Entered The Field With Lot Of Hopes TO Restrict A Team Within A Total Of 120-130.. But The Start Given By Gowri Nd Anand Stopped Us Even Imagining So.. The ball Went to All Corners Of the Ground.. Anand Rocked.. He Was Unstoppable.. V Were Just Watching The Ball Sailing Over The Ropes.. V Didn't Know Wat TO Do Where TO Bowl To Him.. On D Other End Gowri Was Rotating Singles.. Sairam A Won The Toss N Put Srinivasa Into Bat..Initally Mohan Prashanth's Bowling Was Shattered But He Came Back Taking D Wicket Of D Opener And Showed His Aggression.. All D Bowlers Then Bowled Decently N Finally Shiva ,Shankar n Mohan Took 2 Wickets Each..They All Bowled Wonderfully well.. Gopi Nd Ashwin Took 1 wicket Each.. Gopi Was d Strike Bowler As Usually, He Threatened D opposition With His Pace..But The Worst part Is There Was Many Miss Fields, Fielding Was Not Up TO The Mark..
